Andy Young

Owner/President

Andy Young is the proud Owner and President of Hillsdale Beauty College. Born and raised in Coldwater, MI, Andy graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelors Degree in marketing and professional tennis management. He is responsible for all of HIllsdale Beauty College’s marketing efforts. He strives to build a strong business that teaches students how to market themselves in the beauty industry.

Zetave Young

Owner / Education Director & Senior Instructor

Zetave has been in the beauty industry for many years and is the proud Owner, Education Director and Senior Instructor here at Hillsdale Beauty College. She is passionate about her career and is dedicated to making this school the best she can! Every day she thinks “Wow! It is up to me to make the next generation of Cosmetologists…if I fail, they fail.”

Born and raised in Hillsdale, Zetave now resides in Coldwater, MI. She has always loved doing hair and make-up, so she decided to make a living of it. She received her instructor license in 2004 from Hillsdale Beauty College. Zetave decided to start teaching because of her love for the industry and she wanted to motivate and inspire future professionals.

Her students will say that she is very professional and cares deeply about their education. When a student is struggling to learn something, she offers one on one time with them. She loves to see her students’ eyes light up when the skill they are learning finally makes sense to them. She wants her students to feel confident and be prepared to go out and fulfill their dreams!

Brittant Maxson

Instructor

An ambitious hair stylist who is not afraid to try new methods and thinks outside the box. She is always up to date with the latest trends and skillfully use cutting-edge looks to create fresh, modern takes on classic styles. . She began her beauty profession at Hillsdale Beauty College  right out of high school.  . She has always loved doing hair; from styling doll hair to practicing on her friends. She had a passion and knew it had to be expanded upon. Her passion continues into teaching  students her knowledge.

Calli Baird

Instructor

Callie is the co-owner of Deep Roots Salon in Jackson MI. where she continues to work behind the chair. She is an alumnus of Hillsdale Beauty College and  hasn’t stopped learning since graduating. She continues to expand on her knowledge of the industry by attending classes and hair shows to learn from the industry’s best and top leaders. Education is key to success in this industry as styles and trends are always changing. Her love for teaching, the next generation of great stylists, the wonderful world of beauty.

Kelsie Molinaro

Lead Instructor

Kelsie has been in the beauty industry for 10 years. She was born and raised in Jonesville, MI and is the Jr. Theory and Practical Instructor at Hillsdale Beauty College. She graduated from Jonesville High School and received all of her training from Hillsdale Beauty College. Kelsie is very passionate about her work. Teaching and watching her students grow daily is very gratifying. It is rewarding to build relationships with both her students and clients. Her students would say that she is understanding and helpful. She wants them to know that she is grateful for each one of them and will always do her best to accommodate their needs.

Kelsie continually strives to learn and grow professionally. She is always improving her skills because the industry is always changing! Making people feel good about themselves is her first priority. Being in the beauty industry allows her to reach out to people and make them look and feel good. As an instructor, Kelsie has an even bigger opportunity to reach out and help shape the future of the industry and pass on her knowledge.

A positive attitude drives her to excel not only professionally, but in her personal life as well. Knowing that only she has control over her success keeps her motivated to be better professionally and personally! Hillsdale Beauty College is dedicated to professionalism and customer service. As a student, you can expect a quality education with personal one on one time. Kelsie aims to ensure every student will leave with the skills, knowledge and confidence to get licensed and start their career in the beauty industry!

On her days off from teaching, she works in a salon. Kelsie also works at her family’s bowling center and at night, she takes care of her grandfather who lives with her. She is very family oriented.

Kristen Salyer

Instructor

Kristen Salyer started in the beauty industry at Hillsdale Beauty College as a co-op student during high school. After 6 years in the salon, she decided the further her cosmetology education and become an instructor. She has enjoyed teaching her salon knowledge to her students, being as thourough as possible. Most of her students would say she takes the time to get to know her students individually. She loves watching her students excel in their passions. Her goal is to prepare them for their future in the cosmetology industry and help give them the confidence to succeed. When she isn’t teaching she stays busy in the salon keeping up with the latest trends to teach the future professionals at HBC.

Tiffany Denbrock

Instructor

I have a great passion for the beauty industry; it has offered me great opportunities in both the educational and business aspects. My Cosmetology career started 13 years ago. I have worked in a full-service salon throughout the years, until 2021 I decided to continue my education at Hillsdale Beauty College and become a Cosmetology Instructor. I love to teach and watch our student grow.

Travis Ramos

Instructor

Travis is a former Hillsdale Beauty College Graduate. He practices hairstyling in Angola, Indiana and uses hair as his  canvas, bringing a distinctive aesthetic and fresh approach to draw out each client’s unique beauty.  Mr. Tray is truly passionate about learning, he enjoys keeping up on all the latest beauty, trends, tricks, and techniques. His passion for learning carries through to his teaching the high school (co-op) student
